HOW CAN I TRACK MY CHILD’S PERFORMANCE_?
At APS, Palsood we see the child, the parent and the teacher as partners in the learning process. We therefore encourage a great deal of communication regarding each student’s progress. Our main means of informing parents are the following:
PARENT ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
At the beginning of the academic session, an orientation programme is conducted by the academic Head to give an overview of the assessment to the parents. This is an opportunity for parents to meet their ward’s teachers and subject specialists. Exam Pattern is discussed in detail during this programme.
PARENT TEACHER MEETING (PTM)
PTM sessions are conducted after Periodic Tests. Unit tests during this one-to-one interaction the parents and the teachers can discuss the child’s progress throughout the term.
ACADEMIC HEAD’S INTERACTION WITH THE PARENTS
At APS, Palsood it is not only the teachers who interact with the parents. The CBSE Head contacts the parents regularly and keeps them updated on their child’s performance and behavior. This helps to solve issues instantly so that there is no disturbance in the performance of the child at school. Parents are permitted to contact the Head at any time to discuss any issues.
