Our admission process is simple and transparent, ensuring a smooth experience for parents and students while welcoming learners toward quality education and overall development.

Admission procedure (NEP 2020 Aligned)

 

At Agrawal Public School, Palsood, our admission process is designed to be equitable and transparent, ensuring a “safe and positive learning environment” for every child. In line with NEP 2020, we follow a 5+3+3+4 pedagogical structure focusing on holistic development.

 

Age Criteria (Foundational Stage)

As per NEP guidelines, the minimum age for admission to Class 1 is 6 years as of April 1st of the academic session.

  • Pre-School:3 to 6 years.
  • Primary/Middle/Secondary:Age-appropriate admission as per previous school records.


Application Process

  • Registration:Parents can register online at visit the school office to collect the registration kit.
  • Inquiry:Our counsellors provide a detailed briefing on our “man-making” curriculum and technological integration.

Holistic Assessment 

In accordance with NEP’s shift away from high-stakes testing:

  • Foundational Stage (Pre-K to Grade 2):Informal interaction with the child and parents to understand the child’s social and aesthetic awareness.
  • Preparatory to Secondary Stage (Grades 3 to 12):Holistic Discovery Assessment to evaluate problem-solving skills and academic readiness rather than rote memorization.

Document Checklist

 

To fulfil the vision of an efficient process, please ensure you have:

  • Self-attested Copy of Birth Certificate.
  • Previous School Leaving Certificate (TC) & Report Card.
  • Aadhar Card of the Student and Parents.
  • Passport-size Photographs (4).
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable).

Interaction & Orientation

A “cooperative learning society” begins with a strong partnership. We conduct a parent-school orientation to align our goals for the child’s academic, social, and ethical development.


Confirmation of Admission

Admission is confirmed upon the submission of documents and the payment of the requisite fees for the 2026-27 session.
